MIC* Jejunostomy Feeding Tube – 14 Fr
Indications for use of the MIC* Jejunostomy Tube for enteral feeding are wide and varied. The MIC* Jejunostomy Tube can be used in cancer patients, suffering from head and neck pathologies. These patients are frequently on rigorous programs of chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy and often develop anorexia, nausea, pharyngitis, esophagitis, etc., thus precluding an already compromised ability to eat. In some instances, patients may have undergone surgical intervention as a treatment for disease, leaving them physically incapable of eating, chewing or swallowing. Patients with neuromuscular or motor disorders limiting their ability to eat or swallow may also benefit from the MIC* Jejunostomy Tube.
