Veterans Day, which we celebrate today in the US, is an opportunity to show our appreciation to the men and women of our Armed Forces, whose courage, leadership and service provide us with the freedoms we enjoy today.

Supporting our veterans aligns with our values and our commitment to the communities outside our organization. Thanks to employee recommendations earlier this year as part of our Matters of the Heart program, Avanos made $10,000 USD donations to two veteran-affiliated organizations: Hire Heroes USA and Tunnel to Towers. We also recently announced the launch of a veteran employee resource group starting in 2023.

In recognition of this day and all it represents, we asked several of our Avanos teammates how their military backgrounds have positively impacted their careers. After watching the video, please be sure to take a few minutes to reach out to thank the veterans in your life.
